Sense of Brevity

I envy people who can say so much with so few words.  I recall the memorial tablet to Dr. Geddie located in New Hebrides.  Dr. Geddie was a pastor and teacher of renown.

"When he arrived in 1840, there were no Christians here; when he left in 1872, there were no heathen."
